• Geolocation: We derive your country from your IP address or Cloudflare headers to display your region on leaderboards and optimize matchmaking.
• Game Data: We process the nickname you provide, "Friend's Keys" for party matchmaking, and your in-game statistics (scores, kills, deaths).
• Discord Data: If you play via Discord, we use the Discord Embedded App SDK purely for activities and sharing among friends. This may include processing your Discord User ID, username, and avatar to facilitate party creation and Rich Presence.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Game Operation: To manage connections, sync player movement, and maintain the game state.
• Security: IP addresses are used strictly for rate-limiting, preventing DDoS attacks, and enforcing bans for cheating.
• Social Features: To allow you to play with friends using party codes or Discord invites.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Blastery.io is designed around ephemeral (volatile) data processing. Game sessions are processed in real-time. We do not permanently store your Discord User ID or IP address in a database. Connection data is kept in memory only for the duration of your active session and is discarded shortly after you disconnect.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the game securely:

• Cloudflare: Used for routing, edge computing, DDoS protection, and providing country-level geolocation headers.
• Discord: Used for authenticating sessions launched within the Discord App and enabling Rich Presence.

5. Your Rights

Because we do not persistently store personal data like your IP address or Discord ID after your session ends, there is generally no data to retrieve or delete. However, if you have any concerns regarding your privacy or data rights (such as GDPR or CCPA requests), please contact us.
